My blog is simple enough. Let’s get a bunch of people, let’s say a whole million bunch to get in here and read some of these posts. In order to achieve this task I need like any other blogger more traffic and more exposure.
A while back ago I was telling you how I started a cause to raise the number of people joining my blog. Although I consider any Web 2.0 Social applications like Facebook or Myspace, or even Hi5 as a large source of traffic, I haven’t fully exploited either one of them. Personally I have accounts on all these networks. I get to share stuff with my friends and their friends and so on and have some fun while doing that. If I was on a desert island and only allowed to chose one of those I would definitely pick Facebook. I like what it has to offer and I am merely scratching the surface.
I recently learned I could use Facebook exactly like Google Adwords. Drive some traffic to any landing page through their adds. For that I would however need a budget and we all know I started this quest out without any budget in mind. Further more I have recently lost my laptop which really hardens the work I am doing around this blog.
Why choose Facebook? Well Facebook is growing exponentially both in the
Can I make a Facebook campaign pay for itself? I am sure you must have guessed the answer. Where there’s a will there’s a way. And where there’s Market Lodge there should be a way. Market Lodge is a recent addition to my application bar. I found it in that huge application collection. If until now I used any apps just for the laughs, well now I will take a more professional approach. I am about to embark on a mini discovery journey. Let’s see what Facebook can do for me and how Market Lodge can help me out.
What it is you ask? Market Lodge is a cool concept that some people might embrace. Imagine making money from an online store. No employees, no customer support, no product. That’s right you heard me. Just set up you application and start your first Market Lodge store. They will do all the work for you. After handling all the customers’ requests you will get paid for what they buy.
As I said I have already added it to my application bar. It’s really easy to install and customize. I selected my store and baptized it. I am now the “owner” of my first Facebook store and believe it or not, I called it My Cool Store. What will My Cool Store sell? Well I don’t know for now. I am really attracted to movies of course and music. I will juggle with the store and store items for a few days until I found my perfect products to sell to the Facebook community. And from what I hear there are more than 1,200 to choose from and I am sure many more will be added as developers are drawn more and more to Facebook. As long as Facebook rocks, there be lots of new ways to monetize it. And that’s exactly what the Market Lodge can do for me and you.
Making money from my blog wasn’t a purpose initially. But the more I blogged the more I realized I would need more publicity. And there’s no free publicity anywhere to be found. So I would have to make this blog pay for its own advertisement. Market Lodge can help with that. Not only will I be able to make some money in, but I will also get some more exposure for my blog. And every penny I will invest into some ads around the internet and particularly Facebook.
I know there are lots of bloggers out there, trying to make money or already making money off of the internet. For all of those who would want to make money and for all of those that could use that money for indirectly achieving a goal, Market Lodge could be a viable solution.
Does this sound easy? Is it any similar to any other affiliate campaign? Can I use Market Lodge on any other site? Well I am sure you might have lots of questions. I do too and I intend to find out and keep you posted.
I will use Market Lodge from my Facebook profile from now as it has recently been released for Facebook and I will be back with more detailed info on what I am selling and how it’s working out for me.
